Industrial Physical AI for Manufacturing

Hi, I’m Suyoung, a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Melkote Advanced Manufacturing Research Group at Georgia Tech.

My research spans shop-floor Industrial Physical AI and network-level manufacturing intelligence. I develop deployable robotic automation and digital-twin systems, together with data-driven capability models and LLM-based multi-agent methods, to discover, match, and coordinate manufacturing suppliers while extending these methods toward automation resources.

I envision manufacturing systems whose capabilities are clear, comparable, and accessible on demand. Through my research, I aim to help manufacturers identify and deploy automation suited to their production needs, with particular attention to small and medium-sized enterprises.
