DATE I 2024
ROLE I Movie, Storyboard
The goal is to create two films for the vertical screen in the newly renovated Atelier Raum at the BMW Museum in Munich. The aim is to enhance the visitor experience by aligning the films with the room’s refined design concept while telling an engaging and poetic story.
The Atelier Raum’s new design concept, “Monolithic Lightness,” embraces minimalism, focusing attention on the exhibition pieces. This strong design identity creates an opportunity for the films to amplify the space’s aesthetic and atmosphere while providing a deeper connection to BMW’s artistry.
Inspired by the concept of “Monolithic Lightness,” the films were designed with a poetic narrative and a behind-the-scenes perspective. They blend seamlessly into the minimalist space, evoking emotion and highlighting the craftsmanship and creativity behind BMW’s legacy. This approach ensures the films contribute to a cohesive and immersive visitor journey.
This film is about PEOPLE—those who bring the spirit of BMW design to life. With an artful mood, it takes you behind the curtain into a world where creativity, passion, and inspiration collide. As visitors step into the design room, they’re not just seeing a process—they’re witnessing dreams taking shape, feeling the energy and dedication of designers who pour their heart and soul into every line, curve, and detail. In these intimate moments, you’ll experience how the designers find inspiration in the world around them, how they collaborate to turn visions into reality, and how every design is infused with a sense of purpose and emotion. This is more than just a design journey. It’s a deeply human story of vision, passion, and the relentless pursuit of excellence that defines BMW.
